I've heard lots of people say they just LOVE this game..and i've also heard a lot of people that say they HATE this game...
Anyone else have some input, whether or not i should purchase this game?
All answers are appreciated (Unless your being a smart azz of course..hehe)

Jessh even before i opened this post up i knew Wart would be in it. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif I played the first game and i loved it. i haven't played the other series due to me playing counterstrike all the time. make sure you have a pretty decent computer.

Hey All
RS is one of the best games around. Playing against friends on a lan is lots of fun. They hate it when I yell " Tango Down !!! " or " Sights are hot " .

I'd suggest you go for Rogue Spear first then get all the other's when you realise how great this game is.

There's also a huge fan base for this game and plenty 3rd party mods to keep you coming back.

I've played it from the day Rainbow 6 was released and i'm still playing it today both online/lan and single player.

It is a very cool game.
You can play it as a pure FPS (but you'll probably die without some cheats) but better to try and work out the planning/strategy stuff. Far more satisfying.
Get Rogue Spear first, then perhaps the Urban Ops add-on, as this makes modding a lot easier, and gives you a few more cool levels and options.

Am I the only one who runs around Terrorist Hunt with a silenced Beretta? Shhhhhh quietly does it!

Rogue Spear is one of the best games released. I have been playing this series back when it came in 98'. Its a terrific game to play with friends. But playing online is not so fun anymore due to all the people cheating using whats called 'Vertigo' cheat. But even playing Single Player missions is fun, its almost like being in the game its so life like.

Is it compatible w/W2K? Downloaded the Rogue Spear and it wouldn't open - nothing.

Maybe it was a bad download... :/

Sadly the demo doesn't work with 2K but as U-96 says the full version does with a patch.

Rainbow Six is worth the purchase, it has good graphicm and it is a good strategy game. I have been playing since I got over the summer. It can addicting, unless you jsut get bored with it. But I think you should get it.
