MX madness2 across a LAN

I have 3 kids and 3 computers on a routed dsl LAN, how do I play this game across our LAN or do we have to do it by going online???? (new to this) thanks

Before you attempt to play a game on the MSN Gaming Zone, make sure you are already a member of the Zone, the MSN Gaming Zone software is installed, and the game software and any required patches are installed.

To play a Microsoft retail game with other players on MSN Gaming Zone:

Sign in to the Zone at the following Web address: http://www.zone.com
NOTE: If you are not a Zone member already, click New to the Zone? and then follow the instructions on the screen to sign up for Zone membership.


On the Zone home page, click Game Index.


Click the game you want to play.


Click the game room in which you want to play.


You can either host a game or join a game hosted by another player.

To host a game:
Point to an empty game, and then click Host.


Click Settings.


In the Game Name box, type a name for the game.


In the number of players box, type the maximum number of players you want to join the game.


If you want to host a private game, click to select the Private Game check box, and then type the password for the game in the Password box. Make sure you provide the password to the other invited players.


Click OK.


When the number of other players you want join the game, click Launch.


To join a game hosted by another player:
Point to a game and click Join when it appears.

NOTE: If Join is unavailable, the game is already in progress. You cannot join a game that is in progress.


Wait for the host to launch the game.
