Hey guys,

Today I accidentally went to tweak it.com, and I couldn't help but notice a thing or two!!!

It is that it said tweak it at the top, for I could have sworn that it was Sysopt BBS.

Everything is almost the same, except that the forums aren't called general discussion, but just general and motherboard!!!

What is up with that??? Have they copied everything from here???

I don't know what to say about them copying this bbs's format but their General Discussion isn't nearly as cool as ours http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.

They have about 15 topics in the past 30 days. We have 5 pages worth in the past 10 days http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.

I haven't gone there to see, but I'm guessing that they're just using the UBB software for their forums. It's available for anyone to buy, and it's widely used by other websites, Sysopt and TweakIt included.

If you look at the very bottom of the forum pages here, you'll see this:
"Powered by: Ultimate Bulletin Board (UltimateBB), Version 5.39c
© Infopop Corporation (formerly Madrona Park, Inc.), 1998-1999."

Hope this clears it up for you!

Edit: Just went over there to see, and sure enough, the TweakIt website is using UBB for their forums. As for the layout, I'd say it's probably just a coincidence that the forum listing is smiilar to the one here. Many of the online message boards that I've been to have had those forums, in one order or another.

UBB is quite popular in message boards. I happen to prefer it also; it has a really nice layout.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up for me!!!

But, ya'll must realize, that although they both use the same program for it, Sysopt is still the better one in my opinion!!!

I have visited multiple forums, but they are so unlogical I think!!!

Like over at overclockers.com!!!
An unorganized list of reply over reply etc etc.
I can't seem to find logic in that, but maybe that's because I'm used to this kinda forum Sysopt uses.
