I didn't know that recordable dvd drives were so cheap. They can hold about 5gb of data according to the description. I haven't heard much about these drives.

I checked at several online stores I buy products from and their prices don't even come close! WOW!! You know what I actually may think of buying one of those! The shipping actually doesn't add that much more to the price (~$5!!!).

Speaking of which, those DVD-RAM drives are pretty sweet! You can hold a max of 5.2 GB on a double sided, double layer DVD-RAM disk! Those disks would definately qualify as serious backup of your HD. Also think of how many MP3's you can fit on that disk! That's approximately 1,040 MP3's per DVD-RAM disk, if ur avg. MP3 is 5MB.

I remember when those drives were 1st introduced, they were $500+

As long as it comes with the slot drive, I like it. It shows the tray drive on the box and the slot in the description.
