What is that game rated as far as maturity level?

My favorite is Civ II. Another old school game I used to play was Scorched Earth AKA Scorch. Fun game..... Great for playing against my younger brother. It has an unusual selection of weapons and is very customizable.

quake 2. i play quake 3 and i like it, but i think i like more things about q2 than q3. shogo is a kick @$$ game, and occasionally play tribes and HL. as you can tell i'm a big FPS fan.

Hi Guys,

I am a little late, but my favourite game is GP2, with a few little points:

1. You need a steering wheel and pedals (either home made of bought... I made mine - I have power steering in a F1 car)

2. Some-one to race against (with a steering wheel preferably)

3. For those that are old enough, silly enough and thirsty enough and smart enough, a liberal infusion of a slightly alcoholic substance (silly for drinking it, but smart to drive a pc not a real vehicle whilst intoxicated)

4. Grand Prix 3 so you can have more than 2 players.

We have raced till the wee hours of the morning with this game (it's good for petrolheads)

oh man! i forgot all about x-com, haha. that game was incredibly fun. i love how you can name the people and pick em out and stuff. and some of the weapons you get to use are just beastly. the one rocket that you can guide reminds me much of unreal tourney....i smell copyright infringement! j/k

other than x-com, i like all blizzard games, (war1,war2,starcraft, diablo1, diablo2), and some first person shooters. i really dont play many games.

Worms 2 & Armageddon:: Worms is probably the best game series out there. Its Hilarious and very strategic and yet is very simple.)


Descent1 2 and 3:: Definately the best 3D shooter, great graphics (i think it was the first i played with 3d characters instead of sprites) and its very playable bowth multiplayer and single.

INteresting about these games is that they use older, DOS or DirectDraw technology for graphics. In fact, only CC2 came out exclusively for windows 95 for PCs.

I guess it proves (to me, anyway) that the quality of the game is not solely based on graphics, but replay-ability and fun.

i have recently discovered that i have no time for games as Counter Strike is lmost a job now. I average about 20 hours a week playing, and who knows how manymore organizing league play, matches and sorting out clan politics. trying to organize 20 people scattered over the US, and ranging in age from 14 to 25 is a lot of chaos, but great fun when it works out right. we run 3 game servers, use battlecom for match play and spend way too much time arguing about what the best way to attack a warehouse full of terrorists.
I am really looking forward to the final release of Counter Strike....no more betas!!!
