Has anyone gotten EA Sports NBALive 99 to work under Win2k?

Well i don't know about nba live, but i know that win2k doesn't like a lot of games, my friends have had problems getting half life tfc, q3a, and d2 to work properly.

Electronic Arts at this time has not ported their games for NT http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif Hopefully that will be changing soon as I have to keep a Win9x box around so I can play my NSF games and such

i know several people that play 3dshooters (half life and unreal tournament) with no probs under 2000, but no other games yet...

I've gotten both NBA Live 98 and Live 2000 working fine in Win2k. I guess I just assumed 99 would work.

Here's my personal experience.
Games that work:
Unreal Tournament
Quake3
Motocross Madness 2
Re-Volt
NBA Live 98
NBA Live 2000
Descent3
Fly! (can't remember exactly, but seems like it did)

Games that have "issues" (unplayable)
NFL Fever 2000 (sound, but no video after opening demo)
POD (sound, but video looks like it is running at a higher refresh rate than my monitor can support (which ISN'T the case))
Madden 98 (can't remember what happens when you run, but it doesn't work)

Games that don't even install (Complains that it requires Win95/98)
Need for Speed: High Stakes (am I ever peeved about this one)
NHL 99

Supposedly, the latest compatibility update from MS allows many games to work that didn't before (NFS III is specifically mentioned), but I haven't found a game that has changed status after installing the update. However, I didn't test NFS III itself... I'm too stuck on 4. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I am running NBA Live 99 on my w2k machine. I have had some graphic problems with it but it works 99% of the time.
