I just thought the quality might be better since my tv is older (early 90's) and its the same size as my monitor (19 inch).

I'm pretty sure all of the new consoles coming out will be able to play on a moniter.

Get a TV tuner card for your PC, and hook the console up to the video-in jack of the tuner card.
Easy nuff....

Im lookin at the stb one for around 50 is this a better choice than the pinnacle one? also, will the quality be better or equal to tv of the same size(19 inch)?

I'm sure Sony will or have come out with a VGA adapter. Dreamcast has one. As for the tv-in cards...I'd go wit pinnacle.
