Yeah this is more like RS as its tactical, one shot kills. Its great in co-op also but I hated Delta Force 2 as it ran like **** on anything under a 1.6 ghz processor hehe, but the gameplay has always been great.

OK, very cool. Finally accelerated graphics that look good far away and close. The demo map(Eqypt)is not the best. Too bad it isnt multiplayer.

I never played DF2 but did play DF1. I hated the graphics. They were so bad, it was hard to tell where the enemies were. In door fighting (CQB) sucked because of the silly "buildings". I also didn't like the crosshairs at all. Every try hitting a guy at super long range with a .50 without having the freakin' crosshairs MEET IN THE MIDDLE?????????? That was retarded.

Did that change at all in DF2?

I am a HUGE fan of the R6 series. After Covert Ops, they won't make a new one for several years (prolly). Soooooo...anyone know when this comes out?

I've played it once. Pretty good so far.

In RS, I'm used to being able to kill all of the tangoes in the level and having ammo to spare. Not in this game. Can you change the rate of fire? Burst mode wastes ammo. If I could do single shot, it would be ok. Otherwise, I guess I'll only have to shoot the guys I need to. The crooshair thing is good along with the ability to adjust your scope for range. I entered the pyramid with my pistol 'cause I was about out of ammo for my rifle. VERY nice looking CQB areas. I made it a little ways through but got shot when confronted with a bad situation: 3 guys vs. weak pistol.

Whether you can change rate of fire in demo I'm not sure(since tossed it, now waiting for real Macoy) but in full game you could from what I can remember. Check the control options.
The first time I did it I also ran out of primary ammo and resorted to grenade launcher hehe, smoked myself too in the pyramid.

Just press the number key related to the weapon to change fire mode.

i.e 3 to change from burst, single to grenade on the assault rifle.

Thanks guys, but I already figured it out http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif. I avoided direct contact with the majority of tangoes outside the pyramid complex and sucessfully completed the mission on the Normal difficulty setting.

Did you know you can climb the pyramids? That's pretty cool. I have a thing about heights when they're really, really high. I'm not totally afraid, but not totally not afraid either. My palms and my feet get sweaty when very high up in reality or in movies. In this case: in this game http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif. You can be pretty stinkin' high when on top of one of those pyramids. Excellent sniping position too. Just don't jump and move while you're up there 'cause you'll tumb down the pyramid a bit.
