I may preorder it. I say "may" because at this point, I'm not even close to being sick of Urban Ops. I got it back in April to http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif. Multiplayer is still AWESOME. Hell, sp is still a lot of fun. Rogue Spear mp is still the greatest also.

29.99 is a little steep for me. I think I might wait and see if any $10 discounts or something are sent to my email. I actually won Urban Ops in a contest. That was very cool. First time for everthing - I've never one anything before http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.

you know what i played the rainbow six and i thought it kicked so much ***. i was walking around a software store yesterday and saw urban ops and i love the idea of haivng the terrirost come after you. to bad i would still have to buy rogue spear. the graphics look awsome.

Soon they should be having a "gold pack", just like with Rainbow Six (R6 and Eagle Watch in one box). RS and UO should come together for like $30 or so (probably). The Defend missions are impossibly hard. I haven't tried that much, but when I have, I haven't lasted more than 30 seconds tops. They chuck grenades, dozens of guys come, and you are all by yourself.

BUT it's another story in MP. With about 5-6 players you can really have a good time. It's so cool when you're having a battle against the attacking tangoes whilst standing side by side with your comrades in arms http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif. Mow em down!! Yeah, dude, it's so cool.

Covert Ops is a stand alone game - you don't have to have Rogue Spear. I really don't know what to call it. It's not a sequel. It has 9 new missions on one cd and a bunch of info about counter terrorism orgs. on the other.

The levels will be sooooooooo sweet. One is in the jungle with actual trees, shrubs, etc. to hide behind. There is a junkyard, grocery store, trailer park....can't remember any others off the top of my head.

He wart do you have half-life? if you do I think you will enjoy the MOD called counterstrike. its great you can be a terrorist or a counter terrorist online. its a big d/l but it is well worth it in my opinion.

Silly me! I took your recomendation and picked up a copy of Urban Ops a couple days ago.
