Welcome to DSL-Land, Scotter.

Pretty cool, isn't it? Have you downloaded any mega-MB progs yet? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I'd second that! There's definitely no going back once you taste it.

Just a couple night ago I downloaded Daikatana which is an unbelievable 100+MB game demo. In fact, I downloaded it twice...just because I could (actually was just showing a friend the d/l speed). Somewhere between 3-4 minutes for the 102MB download.

Congrats Scotter

I got a 20 gb hd shortly after getting cable. Hehe, it's already full, I need to get a cd burner now....lol

a high speed connection has fundamentally changed how we use the computer, my wife even refuses to go back to dialup, and all she does is Juno, and occasionally searching the web.

My best Q2 ping (on Heat.net)
19 and 20-23 happens from time to time

Q3 on heat
3 .....yes, I am serious...3! Under 10 has happened quite a few times, gotta love it. I think I have a better than average Cable modem :+}

Enjoy your new connection Scotter, it's great to have this kind of bandwidth at home.
