Anyone ever play Geo-political forum based games?

I was just wondering if any of you gorgeous people were into politics and history and played any of this type of game...

I know of a few sites, and mine just started one (thecrossroad.cjb.net), but I know so little as to where a lot of the sites are... besides mine, Destiny of the world, and thirdwar....

Well, I dunno if this counts, but I reckon that the Close Combat Series was the best game series ever made, and this got me really interested in World War 2 weaponary, and so I spend ages looking info on WW2 tanks and weapons on the net, and I always get books out from the library about it.

I have always wanted to get into games like Diplomacy and stuff...except my friends aren't nearly as geeky as me.
