Quake 3 Multiplayer problems

I've always had problem going into MP from within the game. Sometimes it would show servers and sometimes not. But now, no servers, none of the time. Just trying to figure it out. All my settings seem to be ok. I run on cable and I turn my firewall off when I play so that can't be the problem. Incidentally, I am able to play on Mplayer.com but gamespy tells me I have a some sort of outdated 45 error. Really not concerned about that as much as the quake 3 server list from within. Any suggestions?

Hmm... that sure is odd. The only assistance I can give, which you may have already tried, is to make sure you have all the latest updates (outdated 45 error) .
