Pc Accelerator, dead??

A friend told me that the magazine PC accelerator was dead and the final issue was past month.

Yes. I used tor read it since the issue #4 and now I dont know what to read. I dont wanna go back to those pitifull mags like PC GAMER, PCWORLD OR PC MAGAZINE!!!.

This is the second time it passes to me. Firts it was boot magazine, now PCXL. I know that boot magazine is now maximum PC but somehow I dont feel like it's the same.

Any ideas of a nice, hartdcore, striaght talk pc magazine?

Unfortunately, the honest games mag commits suicide.
Which publisher in their right mind will give them games for review before release if they know the magazine will give it a good and honest workout? Very few publishers are that confident.
Those that DO offer honest reviews also tend to find their advertising disappears VERY rapidly indeed.

when i got my last issue mailed to me and i saw the black cover and the quote "its over"
i was quite pissed and bummed. i loved that magazine. its had alot to offer i think. i had constant arguments with a friend who swore by pc gamer. where else can you find the funny beer stories, the totally hot girls, honest reviews...........and of course.....Gia. how i'll miss her. funny thing is i was supposed to get pc gamer in place i was told. gee, i havent gotten an issue yet. how friggin lame. R.I.P PC Accelerator.
