I just want to know if this is a good card, that is all.

Thanx!

If that is what you can afford, sure. But their are newer and better cards out now. But they are more expensive.

Price, is not the factor. My computer has only 1 PCI slot available, so I need a PCI card. If you know of any other good PCI cards, tell me about it. I know that Voodoo5 is out, but I will NOT buy it (there is a personal reason for it). I had Voodoo2&3 and they both ended up in a garbage bin a few month ago. In other words, I would buy ANYTHING, but 3dfx's products.

BTW those Voodoos worked fine, but there was a reason for doing so. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Well, if price is not a factor, wait for the Geforce 2's to come out in PCI form. Otherwise, the PCI Guillemot Cougar TNT2 is on par with other TNT2 M64's.

Yeah, if price doesn't matter, don't go with the TNT2. Go for the new GeForce 2, or even GeForce. Geforce 2 would be a lot better, but they cost a lot!

poor guy, i'v the same situation with you http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif(
i just ordered Creative 3D Blaster TNT2 with
32M RAM at Buy.com. it is ~83 bucks with
a old customer free shipping coupon (floating
around at techbargains.com )
i think that's warm, compared with Cougar
TNT2 64M(64-bit memory) at $107.
