Sidewinder or Xterminator please help

YEs i recently got the sidewinder pro gamepad but i find it hard to use and hurts my thumbs. I was planning to return it for the orginal sidewinder or the gravis xterminator. Which would you recommend???

I've used the Xterminator for almost 3 years and I love it. My neighbor has a Sidewinder but we have found the Xterminator to be more versatile. It has more buttons and (through software) keyboard emulation. My $.02.
