yep it looks like the socket #2 is was wired slightly diff. to enable smp and as a result the powerleap adapter doesn't seem to work in the bp6 in smp in socket 2. but you can use the powerleap adapter in socket 1(regular pin config) with a cel2 or cumine in socket 1 and a regular celeron in socket 2. you could have an 850 and 550 cel in dual. and yes this does work. seems like nt4 and linux work fine but win2k may have probs(sux cause this is my OS of choice). we will see later on

I know why this is...
Its because Win2k is the first Dual processor capable OS to detect SSE instructions. In NT4 and Linux, it wasnt detected, so they were basically the same CPU with different cache/multipliers.
When SSE is detected, the two CPU's then are detected with different instruction sets.

Catch my drift?
