Any good ones out there? I need something quick and simple to convert my mp3s to wav format. Currently I am using Easy CD-DA Extractor. It sucks because it randomly selects certain mp3s to either (a) not record to wav at all or (b) make alien quirky sounds during play after conversion.

So I came to you guys for help http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.

What are you using for playing your MP3 files? If it's WinAmp, you can use it to decode your MP3 files to WAV format. It's in Options, Preferences, Output -> Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in. It's always worked 100% of the time for me, never fails...

I use Rightclick mp3 when I need to do that. It's a shell extention that allows you to just right click the file and decode to wav.

Since this is about mp3's i have a question. About a month ago i posted a thread about converting mp3's to Real Audio Format. How could this be done? If nobody knows then it's no problem. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Someone asked me a long time ago and i want to know now http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

jl123, to the best of my knowlege it's impossible to directly convert one audio compression format to another (mp3 to real audio). So you'll have to decode everything to wav and then use real jukebox to compress to real audio.

Use Mp3 Cd Maker and you wont have to convert your Mp3s to wavs first, it copies the Mp3s and converts them on the fly for you.
