running unreal+255 patch on celeron 466
128 meg tnt2 m64 card

keep getting strange effects in d3d mode
missing polygons on weapons
orange lava is green

everything ok in open gl mode

have detonator 368 drivers

any ideas

Maybe some compability problems between UT and your M64 TNT2 card in Direct3D. Just play in OpenGl mode then.

Hey,

do you only have the differnces when you run in d3d or also when you play software renderer??

My v3800 runs those opengl drivers like it is nothing, d3d doesn't look as good, but still fine.

Do you have the latest drivers for your card??

I tried and tried to get unreal to run on my tnt2 card without problems. Got it stable but to be honest my old 3dfx banshee ran it faster(colors weren't as good I think) so I finally gave up and put the tnt2 into my backup system. Runs windows beautifully, but got to have my UT. Hate that I spent so much money on the card.
