Heck! I've got problems with the FF8 graphic which seems to be corrupt(funny lines but playable)!But when i enter the battle scenes, evrything seems to be fine...any clues??I have a P3 450MHz,SB live!Value,10.2Gbyte HD,Abit Be6 motherboard and the latest creative GeForce driver.I've also tried the Nvidia drivers but that doesnt help at all!Please help, anybody!

I get that same problem too dude, and I'm on a GeForce and Pentium III 500 mhz. I don't think there's anything you can do about it, it has something to do with DirectX. I gave up trying to fix it, and those annoying lines are definitely enough to make the game highly annoying to play. Sorry man,

Yeah...sorry to heay that tou have the same problem...and also all the geforce owner...hopefully they'll make a patch out of that...thanks for the reply anyway...and happy gaming!

i fixed it!!! dont know how its called in englisch ( i have the dutch driver)
you have to set op the someting something with the 2x/2xQ/4x/8xs option one of these wil correct the gfx

.....that was with my geforce-mmx440 or something now i have a FX-5600 :/ cant fix it now DEATH TO ALLL :P

All I know is the computer with problems that the average user with limited knowledge has.... CAN and WILL drive you plain crazy.

My motto is I just try my best to fix it and after I put all I know into the solution and cannot find a solution, I either get rid of it or go on to the next thing...

All the things that go on inside any given program and waht it does are not always known to all or obvious, even though they should be. Most makers, programmers or troubleshooters for companies try very hard to fix anything that might occur..but then one has to remember that each of us has a different system, computer and that entails what each of us have down with it. That could mean we just messed something up somewhere.
Its never worth beating yourself about, just realize this and go on. :rolleyes: :cool:
