Hello,
as all Eminem and other Rap fans know the new Eminem CD came out Tuesday and I was just wondering who here on the BBS bought it and what you guys paid for it?

I didn't buy after I heard a friend of mine's (who did buy it). While it has some decent songs...this cd is very violent and offensive. Jeeze, I sound like my mom. That track, KIM and some of the other ones are just horrible. he makes fun of how influential music is and how people 'believe' in his music...and he takes it as a joke. Even in that 3rd track, 'Stan', where he speaks specifiacally of that, and seems to understand how people do take music to heart...he blows that thought out of the water with his other tracks.
"the real slim shady" is a kick *** track and has some decent thoughts behind it...but...i gotta say..I give it a 'C' rating.
He is a **** GOOD rapper/artist, but hell, when you produce albums like this...good luck.

I bought the cd.. But Eminem is an ***. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
he says it in one of the skits, "Dr. Dre sells records cuz he rapping abbut big screen TV, blunts, 40s and b****es, you rap about homosexuals and vicadins." the very next song is all about how he has not changed and everyone treats him like he's special.
the guy is a total jerk though, i met him last year. He thinks he's tough, but he's not at all.

I think his CD kicks total *** just like his first one... I am sure DRE had a lot to do with it... Yeah he does act tough but that's just the way people are...
I rather pay for my CD's then get them from napster...

LOL Brandon!! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
I would rather download the few songs I like from o-sacred-Napster and then put it on a CD-R along with all the other songs I like. That way I carry around only 1 or 2 cds and not a dozen.
But then again you might have problems if you are like my sister and like 90% of the songs on the CD http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.
All must bow down to Napster, God Of Mp3 Search Engines. Or an acronym: NGOMSE. The "N" is silent http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif. I need to get some sleep. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

I can just see these threads/posts saying how people use Napster for illegal activities getting into court to help the prosecution! Please keep those things to yourself since I do enjoy using NApster on occasion.
