Sidewinder Precision Pro setup for games

I use to think I could figure out anything untill I bought this controller. How do you setup the controls. Back in the old days, it used to be easy. Can anyone give me a website that has some steps on setting it up besides microsofts site? or if anyone knows anything for me. I'm trying to set it up for Rogue Squadron, Quake, and UT. HELP!

Yeah, the button configs that comes with the sidewinder software needs updating badly. I would go buy a game and let it detect your joystick during install. Most games will assign the buttons for you, especially MS games.Otherwise, Use the controls option in the game menu to select a fuction, delete the old one, and press your preferred button to assign it there. It may take a few minutes, but it's worth the save. FYI- Joystick in Quake is not as efficent as keyboard/mouse, but it's been done.
