I was impressed with nhl 2000 and went and got nba live 2000. For some reason I can't play a full game. It will just crash and return me to windows desktop. It has happened a couple times with nhl 2000 but not as bad as nba live.

I have the rage fury oem, 128 megs of ram, sb live, celeron 500 @ 563 on a abit BE6, and the latest 6263 drivers installed.

When I choose software rendering graphics it works however that quality is very poor.

So I have upgraded drivers, reinstalled the game, and both in 16 and 32 bit color with the same results.

Any info would be great. Thanks

disable your sound card in device manager, just to test if that is the issue.

Good call Seti. Tried clocking it down and I was actually able to play a full game of Live 2000.

Now I wonder if there is a way to play these games at overclocked speeds.

Yeah some games seam to be dumb with it. For instance....NFS 3 (another EA game) did the same for me even though other games worked fine.

As for getting it too work...."more cooling" is, of course, the easy awnser. But who knows???

Yeah just up your voltage and it will work.
I upped mine to 2.1 and everything works

I hate to tell you this, but it could be an overclocking issue. Try you default speed to elliminate this as a possible cause.
