StarSiege Tribes OpenGL

I had a voodoo3 2000, and tribes rans beautifully with it, now i've got an Asus Geforce SDR, and Tribes runs like a tub of sh**, though every other game runs sweet. Doesn't tribes like openGL or something? Is there a patch to rectify this?

Do I sense sarcasm in that voice? Tribes (at least I think) is the best multi only game I have played and it probably will continue to stay at the top only until its sequel hits stores soon. With all the hype and business around Q3 and Unreal Tournemant, I decided to try them but I found myself continueing to go back to Tribes more often than playing those two. Granted, gaphics wise tribes gets blown away by Q3 and UT but Tribes has that extra little something that I just can't put my finger on but it keeps me coming back for more unlike any other FPS out there.

Anyway, just wanted to get my word out on Tribes because it has seemed to be lost among the new FPS hype that has flown around when in my opinion they can't hold a candle to good 'ol Tribes ;-)
