Definitely an interesting idea.
I had a rolling demo on a magazine coverdisk a couple on months back, and it looked very interesting.

My main complaint is that it is a little too American. I don't mean that in a nasty way, but I think it will cripple the game on an international level. It just didn't seem to appeal to anyone else IMO.
I think if it was 40's, 50's or 60's America rather than modern, the nostalgia value would remedy that, and you could have all those cheesy adverts in black and white http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I am waiting on this game more than any other for 2000 and that includes Diablo , Diakatna, Max PAyne, and Baluders Gate 2.
