No games that use DirectX will work on my system i tried reinstalling directX 6.1 and that didn't work it just said i had some older versions of files, and that it could cuase problems. im using Windows2000 Pro, but i don't think that could be the cause.
Whenever i try and run different games i get get a DX error message.

Hmm...you shouldnt have dwnloaded anything from Microsoft. What did you expect Win2000 to be any different? Throw the pc away and go finance another. Or maybe fraud the warrenty and get a new one. good luck.
