when is Quake 3 going retail?

I think they shipped last weel and official release day is tommora, December 6.
Some people may have had it shipped to them already, and selling it just a bit before the release to get more sales...

most compusa store have it on the shelf already in the tin box for 49.99.

I am in NC and it was in a store called Software Ect. on Friday Dec 3. So it should be out pretty much everywhere by now, and if you seen the officail demo they fixed the low fps problems I think, at least my system is playing ti faster nothing changed.
