I've got a Logitech WingMan Extreme 3D and can't get it to calibrate. It does work as long as I don't calibrate it. But of course it don't work properly.

There is a test panel and everything will work fine there except the crosshairs don't go clear into the corners. The throttle works but, don't go full open or closed and the same with the twist.

It will calibrate but, as soon as I do and it says that is was successful that test panel comes up and the cross hairs immediately go into the upper left corner and freezes. The throttle freezes one way or another and so does the twist. The buttons continue to work just fine.

I got the registry cleaner from their web site and the latest drivers to no avail. I have also posted this same message on their web-site troubleshooting and no answer.

I have completely uninstalled 3 times and reinstall new and same darn business. @#$^%&@ thing anyway.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

What program you use to calibrate your joysttick? Try installing directx 7 and use the icon for joysticks that appears on the Control Panel.

Another thing some joysticks get old and stop working properly... I tell yo this because a friend bought one and you leave it there siting on the table.. still like a rock and the sight on the computer just doesn't stop moving...

Be sure to calibrate it first from the Game Controller option in Control Panel, before you use any Logitech calibration software. /forum/smile.gif

Yeah, what the Toadman said. Use the game controller section in your control panel. Follow the directions there and badda boom, badda bing!

Oh yeah, you'll have to add the wingman, but it SHOULD be there in the possible selections for you to pick from.

Good Luck
