I was just playing a little SoF. I gotta tell you, that game is nuts. A couple things I saw:

I shot a gun out of a guy's hand....he shakes it as he jumps a bit, and then goes back to covering his arm wound that he got right before that.....and then he begged.
You can shoot lots of stuff off the enemy's, includeing body parts. Corpses move with the impact if they get hit. The knife gets bloody, then the charachter wipes it clean. It's all a little gory for my tastes....but otherwisw the graphics are really nice. Nice textures and stuff. There was some clipping at times though. I only have a P2 309, with a tnt2u and 128MB so I ran it in 640x480 and it was smooth. I didn't try higher as menu locked up on me when I tried.

well it's late and I'm sleepy...ha, nice spelling too...the board should get a spell checker for late nights. /forum/smile.gif

I understand the game is generating controversy about its violent content, like GTA did. Does it have an Adult rating? Activision had a release date of early 2000. It's out??

I'm sure ESRB will give a rateing of "M" or 17+ when it comes out. That's what half-life is rated and I think it's as high as it goes. The version I played seamed to be an OEM or demo beta. It was missing some of the functions in the menu, but there is a violent content adjustment to be made if so desired.
