When I try to run it an error message appears saying something like: "canīt find dll api".
Whatīs up? Do I need a patch of some sort (I havenīt patched HL to team fortress yet)?

I now have patched HL with the latest patch but it still doesnīt work! The game crashes during the loading phase, with a pop-up saying something about a page error.
I might add that the Opposing Force version that I have is the warez version (HL is original, though).
Please help!

Why dont you call Sierra n ask em for tech support?

Truth is, if you use warez and it backfires on you (at the LEAST it wont work..at the most it could really mess up your harddrive among other things), its your problem. Warez, aside from being illegal, has no level of tech support.

If you want it to work, the easiest way would be to go out and buy it, and actually pay gearbox and valve for the good job they done on the expansion.

I recommend searching for the file on your warez cd. If it is there then place the file directly into the required directory. If it is a file that is supposed to be on the cd then I would have to say that you are outta luck.

I don't think that you will get much support here for anything concerning Warez. Most of us pay for our games, so that we can support the software companies who will, in turn, continue to produce the games we like.
As posted previously, go buy the game- it's only 30 bucks and it's worth every dime. /forum/wink.gif

Suggestion: Listen to AuraEdge, jman01pa and lost1 for the best advice concerning this topic. There will be no help cracking warez on this BBS when I see it.
