Does anyone gets a "EXCEPTION CAUGHT" message while playing NFS3 or NFSHS?

Got this once in a while playing Need For Speed III on a PII and now with NFSHS on a PIII. Does this sounds anyone familliar?

If you have a Voodoo Banshee video card there is a patch for that particular error message at http://www.ea.com/tech_support/index.html Select the error messages link at the top of the page. Hope this helps. I had the same issue.

I had a CL Banshee PCI (from my PPro, excellent combination) in my PII and had these messages during gameplay (not regulary though). Don't thought I would get them too on my new PIII system with a TNT2U. Haven't seen an update for NFSHS.

never got the exception but i have found that i works just fine sometime and other times itll lock the whole system after two minutes ....not sure but it is the same with two different vid cards. Any thoughts?
