I meant the actual demo, not the Q3A test that was released several months ago. Sorry for the mis-communication. /forum/smile.gif

Ok, just got done with a 2-hour comparo tween UT and the new Q3demo released today. I give the eye candy for scenery to Q3, audio goes to UT(at least for the demo), and playability to UT. Why? Q3 seems to be a re-hash of Q2 with better graphics, but kinda mindless and non-immersive, just a frag frenzy. Same weapons without a secondary fire mode either and I couldnt see playing a 2-hour team tourney. I hope I'm wrong when it goes gold(btw..UT went gold today, check your stores). I'm interested in what you guys think. No flame wars, just honest opinions about the two, because there is room for both. Whatcha think?

Q3A has some cool and destructive weapons, while UT has the Unreal's weapons, but modified in some sorta way. The alternate fire is cool, but is frustrating when you try to make and ASMD combo while some is shooting his minigun directly into your face.
UT is fast, real fast... and Q3A is fsat, but not as much as UT. Also the skins and models for players are by far better those on Q3A.
Is difficult to choose one... each one has its own style for game play. It all depends on how good you are on either one of them /forum/smile.gif
