Hey guys. I've had this problem recently where as soon as I entered a game I would lock up. Well I took out a RAM stick and now I can get into the game but it locks in under a minute of play. Now I have no idea what is wrong and I'm trying to get somemore feedback on the issue. I have DX7 installed and it might be the culprit but I don't know. I've had things like video card, cpu, ram, motherboard, and hard drive problems brought up. Just seeing if anyone has any experience in this or has seen this happen. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

ok hope this helps I have a gillimont voodoo banshee and I update the drivewrs every time a newer version comes out the last time I updated the drivers all of my directX games started crashing some after a few min of play some right off the bat the worst was motocross madness what I had to do was uninstall all the drivers and I mean uninstall them delete them all off my hard drive one by one the uninstall for most does not delete evry thing so you have to get it all your self then reinstall the ones that came with the card or the newest refrence drives from riva for the tnts I'm now yousing the Q3 test drivers from 3DFX for my banshee and evey thing works GR8
if i use the drivers from gillimont forget it /forum/smile.gif
if you have not call creative then call them and see what they say or try uninstalling and trying diff drivers /forum/smile.gif
