I just completed an upgrade from Win 95 to Win 98SE. I've read before where I can get rid of some files/folders after installing Win98, that will allow me to reclaim some hard drive space. Does anybody know what those files are or where I can go to find out?

In the main C: drive, you can delete all files but the .sys, .bat, .com, and .dat files. If your worried about deleting important files, put them into a new folder for a week or two, and if nothing goes wrong, then you can delete them

Go to Find, Files and Folders, Advanced and you will have a menu in the "of type" box. You can find lots there that you don't need.
