MadMax 05-18-1999, 08:43 AM Some BIOS have an audio alarm that sounds when you are overheating. You might be setting that alarm off for only a second or two. Check out your BIOS for Temp related settings, you might find something referring to an alarm. KingJoe 05-18-1999, 10:24 PM heh Thanks for the help Mad Max but it turns out I was getting those beeps by holding the left up and right arrow keys.Guess you get those on my system if you hold three or more keys at once. Anyone know a way that I can get those beeps off http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif, maybe in the bios? Hurt_Me_Not 05-19-1999, 02:22 AM No idea about disabling it in bios but if it annoy's you. Lift the case off and pull the speaker wires off the motherboard. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif KingJoe 05-20-1999, 12:44 AM heh, just might do that if there isn't another way http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif.
