I need a universal/generic 8 button gamepad driver. The software that came will not load and gives me this error "Add your license file in the Setup pane of the
InstallShield IDE."

Just a suggestion. Take the Generic pad back to wherever you bought it and get a refund. Then use that money to buy a Microsot SideWinder Gamepad. It has 10 buttons and it won't give you as many headaches.
