It depend on the game and how much RAM your video card or 3D accelerater has. I play Q2 at 1024x768 dpi with a 16mags of video rams with 75+ frame/sec. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I do believe that Starcraft is dependant on desktop resolution?If you set your desktop to 800x600 then it should run starcraft in that resolution.
