Instead of just the <table> lead tag, start the tag like this:
<table border="0" width="80%" height="326">
and put in the numbers you want for border, width, and height. Width is what i think you are refering to, 100% would be full page, etc...
maybe you can define "wrap to the page" a little better?

I am not sure what you mean but I you could look at how the tables are done on one of my pages. (http://www.geocities.com/jad1097/misc.html) I don't know much about HTML but I use a wyswyg editor.

by "wrap to page" i meant that i want the text to wrap within it. such as within a post here on SysOpt. look at the following and you'll see what i am wanting to solve.
adfdsdsfsdsaafadasdfdsfllsdfsdsddsfalldfsll
llfsllllfllllllllllllsdfsdfallllllllfllfsdf
addasfdsadsslllsddfdssfaflllllllllafslllls
dasfllldfsffaaflllldsfalllllldfslasfdlfdad
sflllfadfs dfsdfsdsdfdsddslllldfddsffafsfslllllllllfllllddsff sfdsfsddsaffaafsdfdfaasll
llllllllllllllllldsfasffafdasssdfdfsldFfddfadsfssd afadfsaffdallllllllllll
lllsdflllllllllllllldassffdfslll llsdfllDflllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll lllllllllllllllllllll
lllllllllllllllllllllllllll
that above causes the window to be scrolled over. what i want is a way to make the text automatically wrap within the table.
if you need a further example i will provide it.
mgordon99-
at my site, we have to cater to different screen resolutions and such, so we can't use actual values on most things; we must use percentages. but thank you for the help anyway.
thanks,

Hi Cujo, please don't cause *our* windows to scroll over ok? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif For the purpose of clarity, a series of too-long, unbroken characters will cause the page to format longer than the standard 800x600 for this site. I have added line breaks to the above series of characters. Thanks.
