My wife is a children's librarian at our town's library and she has several systems at the library for public access (for children).

Well, the clever little tykes are constantly changing the icons and typing swear words (REALLY PROFANE!!) in the screen saver, etc. Ha ha, funny stuff...if you're 10-13 years old. Oh them clever chilluns!

She desperately needs a software package that basically locks the system...doesn't allow disk writes, changes to the desktop, etc., but you can access a CD ROM for the kids programs and write to a floppy.

Is anyone out there familiar with some software that does this?? If so, please advise ASAP! (I'm getting tired of sanitizing the system every few days...HELP!!)

Thanks...

Tony

Tony-
I have a copy of Full Armour. Iused to work for Sams Club, and thats what we use to protect our PCs. It keeps people out of the control panel, keeps people from deleting and writing files to the harddrive and other stuff. ITs pretty tough too. I played around with it for a long time, and only figured out one way to bypass it. But I won't share http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif.
I will look to see if I can find the CD that I have that on.
