Well, I have been neglecting my RC5 for a while but have loads of blocks coming in now on a dual system and figured I'd start the others up too.

My Q: How do you get the system to ignore OGR? If you set it to 0, it takes 24 OGR blocks and starts on those. I can manuaklly delete these, but would rather config it differently. If I set it to 1, smae deal but with only one block.

Thanks
Dave

I have a dual PIII 750 system at my fiancee's house. It is her workstation (Yes, I gave her, the graphic designer, the most power as she needs it more than me with my games http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif). I have a PIII 800 and a PII 266 at home and a PIII 700 and a P 200 and a P133 at work.

I will try the setup you have for the misc. I wish they had given us more of a choice or easier configs for killing OGR...

Thanks!
Dave

When I setup config 1st panel enter 2 then 9 do a DES:0,CSC:0,OGR:0,RC5 and hit enter, the preogram changes the colons to equal signs then I do a enter on 13 which you again can select number of blocks you want the program to fetch. I use RC5:250,OGR:0 witch when you enter that it again changes the colons to equal signs. I use 250 blocks as a fetch on my k62 & 3+ boxes. You'll have to decide how fast your boxes can crack and then you can always stay just ahead of the flush. Of course you back out of the program saving what you just did, every step. I do some other things in my setup, but you didnt ask for that info Ha! hope this helps

WTG Dave, what did you get for a dual system? About the only way to stop OGR is to edit the config or manually edit the dnetc.ini file

[misc]
project-priority=RC5,DES=0,CSC=0,OGR=0

I always copy the same ini between all my machines prior to running the client and none of them have even d/l'd OGR work! I use it on all the different platforms I crack with-Win95,98,NT,2K,DOS,QNIX,LINUX, and considering loading up my HP-Unix machines. I've got about 30 antiques that will do about 50 blocks each per day, just a pain updating the blocks!
