I see alot of you doing this ect. and I did an edit on one of mntsnows post to see what was up. and from what I saw was. he had just uploaded the pics ect to his web site and than.

just posted a link to his web page in his reply ect. is this right. is this all there is to it.

I did a search for a name.com" the one I want to use" at register.com and the one I want is taken on the other side of the world. he he my isp said that they would give me 5 mb space. except the address would be

there www.there (http://www.there) web address.net and than myself. I don't like my isp and I'm sure as hell not going to put there name infront of mine.

all I want is a small homepage with a little personal info,some links and a PLACE to post pic, benckmarks and uploads ect. can you just do this with out a real big home page. and I know it will not be keep upto date on a daily basic's ect.

the guy at my isp told me to use xoom.com he has a few pages there. and he also, said that if I used my own ips. I would have to make the page and upload it myself.

and if I got a .com or net. they would charge me 50.00 a month to host it includeing my regular service.

but, I want to maybe do a little pic posting sometimes. and they might be a little nasty. and I also don't want someone watching over me if I do a link to a site they don't like. he he

I found a suitable name " register.com"to match what I want to use. but, I can't justifie the cost for what I want to do.

would you go ahead and get a resistered name or what. I mean it's only 35.00 per year. and than I would have my name in writeing ect.

I looked at virtualave Monday. a friend of mine uses it. but, it said for bussiness only.

and once again. I think each and everyone of you all for this info. I'm going to check out them all and than take it from there. I have alot of programs. all the frontpage up to 2000,micro media ect. I just never have used them before. to to stupid to learn them or no time.

also, I know you have to put up with ads ect. but, I didn't want a lot of them ect. and that is a main figure too. that is what I like when I looked ay xoom. only on the top ect.
