actually it wont be for a number of years and the biggest impact now will be the price of power

These past several weeks have been hard, I get alot of pressure to have all my machines turned off to conserve power.

I have the luck to have 3 machines temp. working for the team and me right now. Thing is, I feel like have to shut them down at night.

1. I have NO idea what the sudden price hikes are going to look like on my next bill yet http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

2. Conservation of power is also a huge factor in turning them off.

I leave one on. It's the lowest wattage-hungry computer on through the night. The monitor stays off.

I feel for ya Izzy. You know just where my opinion on this "energy crisis" stands. Funny, now all the sudden, other power companies across the U.S. are starting to predict shortages this summer. There wasn't any de-regulation in the states I heard mentoned. Hmmmm, go figure.

Those other companies are seeing that if they claim to be running low on energy, the government will help them out and they will also make alot of money on raising rates.

Plus I got herd up and out of bed today and they are running laps again! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif
