Well I see you have abit of a lead on me now. Fortunately I've convinced my mom to leave her computer on 24/7, and I'll be home tomorrow to restart my Cel 533A @ 888 to get my keyrate back up. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
Even better, I just ordered my new comp (Duron 750Meg, KT7-Raid and 256Megs of PC133) which will be in Tuesday, and I'm sure it will hit 1Ghz at least.
It's time to retake my lead. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

I have gotten quite a lead between us, and I hope I can stay ahead long enough, so that I can get the multiple PIII 667's running at work http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Catch Socal??? She's WAY out of my league at the moment. I think it's time to start recruiting some more friends.
I think after I pass you (hopefully http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif), I'll aim my sites on MTP. That should take awhile.
Maybe next year I'll be close enough to go after Socalgal. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Hey, I like having y'all chasing me http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif
Well, I'm hoping I can convince our IT Director (a woman, btw http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif ) at the new company I'm working for to let me put a muncher on at least my work machine ... we'll see what happens
Looks like I'm burrowed in at ol' 40th place again. Time to try to move that up a tad. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Yes!! The stuff was shipped out today, should be here tomorrow. Even better, I've got a friend with who's building a Duron 750 as well. (with my help) I'm sure he'll want to lend his computer to the cause. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Well, I found out why I wasn't doin so good each day http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
my PIII 500 wasn't flushing, so I did a mini-mega-dump today http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
I just hope I can stay ahead of all of you... looks like once I get my duron assembled and overclocked I'll still have to find some machines to recruit... I can't wait...

Well, my dad is getting another 2 Celeron 700's or PIII 800's at work, so I may be able to add the following to my fleet:
PIII 667
PIII 667
PIII 800
PIII 800
http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
That would add some nice cracking power http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Not so good news... for me, anyway. Due to the power crisis in CA, we're ordered (at work) to shut systems down (individual workstations) at night. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif
But 8 - 12 hours a day is better than nothing, so I'll be appealing to let my cow start crunching today. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Actually, the next 5 weeks should be VERY good. I've got to go to sea on Monday until the 15 Feb. (San Diego here I come http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif!)
BUT, I'll be leaving my computers up and crunching, and having a friend check on them every couple of days. Without any thing else going on (gaming, etc.) I should be able to put out around 2000/blocks a day. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif
Yee HAW!

Just a word or warning http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif. I have been on holiday a few times and left my boxes crunching but about 4 weeks ago my wife woke me up saying there was a burning smell coming from one of the cows. I dived through to find that the room was full of a burning plasticy kinda smell and the power supply fan had gone and stopped working. I dunno what might have happened if the wife had been out as I am a sound sleeper http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif. I just wanted to share my close call with you just so as you are aware of the risks. Having said that I hate losing even 5 mins crunching time lol http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.

Well, I have a 386 that has a PS with NO fan in it at all http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
Runs fine, and not very hot, either.
It is cool, because there is no fan on the processor, and when the HD spins down, there is NO SOUND WHATSOEVER coming from the computer http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
