Excel 2000 easter egg

Found this tidbit below on www.hardocp.com (http://www.hardocp.com) when I should've been studying.

This is from HardOCPer Jon Mercado. I would have called him a liar, except for one small thing, everything he said was true. He tells of a "Spy Hunter" type game and how to get to it. Wild stuff. **** I really liked playing Spy Hunter too. The music kicked much ***.

1. Open Excel 2000
2. Under file menu, do 'Save as Web Page'
3. Say 'Publish Sheet' and 'Add Interactivity'
4. Save to some htm page on your drive.
5. Load the htm page with IE. You should have Excel in the middle of the page.
6. Scroll to row 2000, column WC. Select row 2000, and tab so that WC is the active column.
7. Hold down Shift+Crtl+Alt and click the Office logo in the upper-left.
8. If you have DirectX, you will be playing what looks like spy hunter. Use the arrow keys to drive, space to fire, O to drop oil slicks, and when it gets dark, use H for your headlights.

Interesting little tid-bit. I tried it out and it did work for me. Not sure why MS developers feel its necessary to do these things, but if it in any way adds to the code bloat they suffer from, or instability in their products, I wish they'd knock it off http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

dunno if this helps or not, but i couldn't get it to work at first either. then i realized it said to select row 2000. so i clicked on the left side 2000 button to select the whole row. then i used the tab key to highlight the box in column WC. then i did the s-c-a-click thing and voila.

Pretty cool, but how can you save the page at row 2,000 column WC for next time?
