Proxy Not Available ???

Any one else having problems reaching the proxy ? Non of my clients can reach it and the stats page has gone. 24.72.9.177 seems to have dropped off the net altogether. Obviously I can get here and to other sights but the proxy, she is gone.......

During some web based duplicate block tests this afternoon the server become severly overloaded within a 10 min period. So much so that all access in/out came to a halt. It was like this for almost two hours before X windows finally crashed taking whatever that was causing problems, with it. The server didn't go down, but a stats update did get kill which prevented any other stats update from starting.

I have reloaded the webserver which freed up 120Mb of much needed ram. And the stats are now updating again.

So, Virus, it sounds like that stats page is running on som version of Unix. So what did the run queue get up to ?

edit: if you can't connect to Virus' keyserver - don't worry, after a few retries it connects to distributed instead - it is still down for me....

Yeh but if you fetch and flush direct to DNET the blocks you flushed don't show on Virus's Proxy so I have mine set not to use DNET http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.
