I have gotten rid of logo.sys and logow.sys but I seem to have a backup file some where and don't know where to look. I am trying to get rid of my bootup screens.

Any sugestions would be great!!

What OS?

I have a freebie bit of software called powertoy.exe for W95 (I think it was written by MS).

This gives you an icon in control panel called TweakUI, which allows you to disable the splash screen and do other useful stuff, like display boot menus, etc.

I think it worx with 98, or the 98 equiv is part of the 'plus' pack, but I'm not sure.

If you want it, email me and I'll send as an attachment and brief instructions (205k).
