who wants to take a stab at this? my computer, which is an amd k6 233 runnin at 266 cracks faster than a 'true' PII 266 (at school) and a amd k6-2 300 (parent's 'puter). why would this happen?

i think i did done just figured out my answer...i now believe the number of blocks per packet is different in the machines.

...and if the HDD is set to "sleep/power down" cracking will slow down..
