It has been awesome cracking on the team with you guys, but I'm now done. I switched to a new team (although I'm still gonna use the pproxy, cause it's too much fun to give up). No I'm not switching to hardocp or anything like that I've switched to Queen's University http://stats.distributed.net/rc5/tmsummary.php3?team=2337

I have sysopt to thank for introducing me to rc5 and distributed computing, thanks a lot... I will crunch/crack/process forever...

I don't want to come out as the 'bad guy' of this thread, but isn't the proxy for Sysopt members only? To me anyway, if you want a proxy, you join a team, HOCP, T.A., ROM2, S.O., e.t.c. which have one of their own. Okok, flame me now, http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif I just would like to hear others opinions of non-team members using the Sysopt proxy.

The only other occasion I remember, is when Jator asked as he wanted to send a few blocks through on one day.

Sure you become a regular stats fan, but bad luck if your on a team without one.

If you all have no objections to the proxy becoming a place for anyone wanting stats (SO and other teams), say so and I'll shut up, and go back to reading a cold fusion book. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

I think it can go either way. I had suggested one time a 'Master' pProxy for Mika(TA) and Virus(SO) to flush through so that we could have merged stats for both teams. I wouldn't have any problem with someone outside of TA using my pproxy. Maybe if a bunch of people did it, I might.

Inthe end, I think that Virus has the final say so since he provides the service.

I have nothing against mnx and like Jator says the decision lies with Virus but when i left i decided then that i couldn't use the stats page as it was hard to justify making use of it without contributing to the team.
I guess if it was just the odd person then that would be fine but where would it stop?
