Today is a big milestone for me

Today I've been clean & sober 10yrs, had my last hangover May 22, 1990. I was humming and harring as to whether to post this or not as its not computer related, but it's me, and I've been comming here for quite a while now, if I've offended anybody sorry bout that!

Congrats are due to anyone who can stay sober that long! My best freind will have 5 years this year, man you should have seen him before he quit he sure did hit bottem!
Funny thing is I am on they way to go get some beer since it is about time they can start selling it again, **** bible belt don't they know some peopel get off at 4 in the morning! Why should I have to wait? Oh well it nots very often anyhow.

Well it's 8:am and time to go get some brew!

No it is not 100 times eaisier to quit smoking than drinking! GO to an AA meating and you will get smoked out. Alcohol is very easy to give up for most people just not all, some need moral support.

Imagine where you might be now if you hadn't of quit? Times have changed in the past 10 years. They are less lenient on drinking and driver for example.
We all have experiences that we regret when drinking.

Even tho I'm one of the biggest harda$$ a$$holes there is in this world. I shed a tear of joy for you on this GREAT DAY of yours.

I think YOU have done one of the GREASTEST thing in this world for youself and the ones around you. alot of people just don't know how hard it is for someone to quit the stuff or to live a life some people have had to do with the addiction of drugs or alcohol.and it is even worse when you have both of them real bad ect.
