Hard Drive Question

I currently have a Celeron system and I have ordered an Athlon system. I have two hard drives in my current system, one of which I have backed up a bunch of stuff to. My intent is to just slip it into my new computer when it gets here as a second drive also. Will it work? Are there any problems with switching a hard drive from a Intel to a AMD system? Also, this drive does not have the OS on it. Thanks.

You should not have any issues placing your spare drive into the new AMD system.

But it's going to need an OS on it to boot. Just install whatever operating system can go on that partition.
