Synama Web Browser 2.0 (http://fileforum.efront.com/detail.php3?fid=958921095) is a cool new web browser. It's underlying rendering engine uses the Internet Explorer API.
This is really just a new interface to the IE core HTML renderer. That means it will support Java, JavaScript, and all IE plugins. It offers such support as multiple windows, ICQ paging, and pop-up blocking. It also is extremely fast, as it doesn't use the buly IE front-end, but a completely redesigned interface. It is minimalistic, but small and fast. The downside I see is that is in German, but you can easily figure oiut all the options.

Interesting, even though I'm not fond of the idea of multiple inside windows.
Speaking of alternative browsers, Act9 (http://jansfreeware.com/jfinternet.htm#act) is pretty cool as well. It supports _only_ HTML, but it seems to me that's often all you really need. It's pretty fast too. Apparently, it's built from the ground up using Delphi.

Robert: What do u mean it's all German, does that mean someone like me who can't translate German won't be able to use it, excuse my ignorance if this is a dumb question.

happyhamster...Act9 is very buggy, after only using it for 1 hour, the webpages went real screwy, pictures from other websites showed up in my posts on this site, and other weird "stuff".
I think i'll just stick with Netscape and IE for now, Thank You

All the buttons and options are clearly shown, so I don't think anyone would have a problem reading them. The download is less than 250kb, so check it out.
The borwser I've been most impressed with is Opera 4.0. The new Beta 4 supports alomst every option that IE 5 does, but is more configurable and faster to use. Opera has also included Java support in this release, as they now support Sun's Java Runtime Enviroment, which you can easily download for Sun's website.

jadison,
I'm sorry for your bad experience with Act. I didn't mean to confuse you, but obviously I wasn't clear. I recommended it only as a fun toy to take a look at, or just experience something different. For real browsing there's no substitute for IE/Netscape with several years of development behind them(well, Opera may get close, but there're issues).
